WICKED, WICKEDNESS ｜ 恶人与邪恶

ENWICKED, WICKEDNESS; godless, ungodly, ungodliness; unrighteous, unrighteousness; unholy; unbelieving; evil men, evil-doers. The source and spring is in the heart: Matt. 12:35. An evil man out of the evil treasure of the heart bringeth forth evil things. Mark 7:21, 22. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. Prov. 21:10. The soul of the wicked desireth evil. Prov. 2:14. Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked. Eccl. 8:11. Therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. John 3:19. And men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. Jer. 4:14. O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. Heb. 3:12. An evil heart of unbelief. The wicked are described, in character and in deeds, in both Testaments: Ps. 5:9. Their inward part is very wickedness. Ps. 36:1-4. The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes. Ps. 73:6-9. Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain. Prov. 6:12-19. A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth. Isa. 59:3-14. Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood. Rom. 1:28-31; Rom. 3:11-18. There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 2 Tim. 3:2-5. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud . . . having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.

ENResults of evil-doing: 2 Tim. 3:13. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. Job 4:8. They that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same. Hos. 8:7. For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind. Prov. 1:31. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way. Prov. 11:5. But the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness. Prov. 13:21. Evil pursueth sinners. Prov. 14:32. The wicked is driven away in his wickedness. Ps. 34:16. The face of the Lord is against them that do evil. Micah 2:1. Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! Eccl. 8:13. But it shall not be well with the wicked. Ps. 1:4-6. The ungodly are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment . . . but the way of the ungodly shall perish. Ps. 37:38. The end of the wicked shall be cut off. Job 27:8. For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul? Mark 8:36. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Isa. 57:21. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked. Rom. 1:18. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men. Rom. 2:8, 9. Indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil. Rom. 6:23. For the wages of sin is death. 1 Cor. 6:9. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? 1 Pet. 4:18. And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? Rev. 21:8. And the unbelieving, and the abominable . . . shall have their part in the second death.

BSBGalatians 6:8 The one who sows to please his flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; but the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

Isa. 55:7. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him. Prov. 4:14, 15. Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away. Ps. 34:14. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. Amos 5:14, 15. Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live . . . Hate the evil, and love the good. Rom. 12:21. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. 1 Thes. 5:15, 22. See that none render evil for evil unto any man . . . Abstain from all appearance of evil. Titus 2:12. Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. 1 John 1:9. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
