I. God's Judgments on Earth

ENJUDGMENT OF GOD. 1. Upon nations and individuals in this life. 2. The final and abiding judgment upon the race. I. God's judgments upon peoples and persons on earth—judgment His "strange work": Isa. 28:21. That He may do His work, His strange work; and bring to pass His act, His strange act. Ps. 9:16. The Lord is known by the judgment which He executeth. Ps. 99:4. Thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob. Ps. 103:6. The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. Prov. 29:26. Every man's judgment cometh from the Lord. Jer. 23:5. A King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. Rev. 16:7. True and righteous are Thy judgments. Dan. 7:9-14.

BSBIsaiah 28:21 For the LORD will rise up as at Mount Perazim. He will rouse Himself as in the Valley of Gibeon, to do His work, His strange work, and to perform His task, His disturbing task.

His strange work / His strange act:strange

ENAll His judgments executed solely in the interest of righteousness and mercy, of man's redemption: Isa. 26:9. For when Thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. Isa. 30:18. Therefore will the Lord wait, that He may be gracious unto you; . . . for the Lord is a God of judgment. Ps. 101:1. I will sing of mercy and judgment. Ps. 89:14. Righteousness and judgment are the habitation of Thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before Thy face. Joel 2:13. Isa. 63:4. For the day of vengeance is in Mine heart, and the year of My redeemed is come. James 2:13. Mercy glorieth against judgment. Amos 4:12. Because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.

BSBIsaiah 26:9 My soul longs for You in the night; indeed, my spirit seeks You at dawn. For when Your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.

语法mercy and truth shall go before Thy face:拟人化(慈爱诚实如先导之使者行在前面);glorieth against:向……

II. The Final Judgment; Christ the Judge

ENII. The final judgment; Christ the Judge: Ps. 9:8. He shall judge the world in righteousness. Acts 17:31. He hath appointed a day in the which He will judge the world in righteousness by that Man whom He hath ordained. Eccles. 3:17. God shall judge the righteous and the wicked. John 5:22. The Father . . . hath committed all judgment unto the Son. Description of the judgment: Matt. 25:31-46. (Note the determining principle of vs. 40, 45: "Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me"; "Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to Me.") Rom. 14:10. We shall all stand before the judgment-seat of Christ. 2 Cor. 5:10. That every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Heb. 9:27. It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. Rev. 20:11-15. I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened. See Condemnation.

BSB2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive his due for the things done in the body, whether good or bad.

语法Inasmuch as ye have done it … / Inasmuch as ye did it not …:inasmuch as『既然,就其……
语法参:介词前置的关系从句 to whom / of which → 001 a day in the which He will judge:in the which =【古】in which。
